Providing comfort, hope, and confidence to children in urgent need
Subaru and its retailers partner with Operation Warm® to visit local homeless shelters and support agencies to provide children with brand-new necessities like coats, shoes, and socks.
These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, they can also have a significant impact on a child’s mental and emotional well-being.
Through this partnership and other historical Subaru Loves to Help efforts, Subaru and retailers like us will have supported over 1 million children and adults in urgent need nationwide.
At Subaru, we believe what we leave behind is a reflection of who we are. That’s why Subaru and our retailers partner with the Arbor Day Foundation (TM) to provide and distribute 100,000 regionally appropriate trees across the country. We’re proud to establish the largest corporate tree distribution ever. Through this and other Subaru Loves the Earth initiatives, Subaru and our retailers have helped distribute and plant over 1.1 million trees.
Subaru believes we should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. That’s why for over 10 years, Subaru and its retailers like us have partnered with Blood Cancer United® and our local hospital to give warm blankets and encouraging messages of hope, written by our employees and customers, to support our community members living with cancer. Through our combined efforts during this partnership, we have supported over 550,000 cancer patients nationwide. Together, we are proud to be Blood Cancer United’s largest automotive donor.
Subaru and its retailers, like us, are continuing our support of education and high-needs schools in our communities through Subaru Loves Learning(R) by providing teachers across the country with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know are needed to help students thrive in the classroom. Through our partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, Subaru and its retailers have supported more than 950,000 students nationwide and are proud to be their largest corporate supporter.
Subaru believes all pets deserve a loving home. That's why retailers like us partner with our local animal welfare organization every October to provide direct financial assistance through a grant distributed by the ASPCA® and host pet events to help animals find loving homes. Through our partnership with local and national organizations, Subaru has donated over $70 million, supporting the rescue, adoption, and health of over 700,000 animals. We're proud to be the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA.
Subaru and its retailers believe in giving back to our communities. That's why for every new vehicle sold or leased during the Subaru Share the Love event, Subaru and its retailers, like us, makes a donation to national charities that our owners care about and to over 2,700 local charities where Subaru owners live and work.
Now, after 17 years, Subaru and our retailers have donated nearly $320 million to charity all to give back and to make the world a better place.
Subaru and Premier Subaru of Fremont believe in making a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work. We uphold that belief through our Love Promise Community Commitment. Every month, we select inspiring stories from customers and partners from around our area who strive to support our collective commitment and feature them here.

Premier Subaru of Fremont and the Blood Cancer United Northern California chapter had the pleasure of delivering 80 blankets to Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley as part of the Subaru Loves To Care program. These comforting gifts were accompanied by personalized messages of hope written by the customers and staff of Premier Subaru of Fremont. Many of their staff members came out to attend the drop-off, and they were all so proud to be a part of it. The dealership owner and his wife also came to the drop-off, which was really special. Especially since the hospital staff and the dealership staff have formed such a strong bond after doing this drop-off for the past 11 years. This incredible act of generosity was warmly received by Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley, who were thrilled to distribute these comforting gifts to their patients. Being able to deliver a small gesture of comfort to patients perfectly captures why this program exists. Many thanks to Premier Subaru of Fremont and Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley, not only for a memorable day, but also for supporting Blood Cancer United's mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

Imagine being a toddler learning to walk, explore, and run — but wearing shoes that are too small, worn through, or not meant for the weather. Imagine being a preschooler eager to play on the playground but feeling discomfort with every step. For many of the families enrolled in our Early Head Start and Head Start centers, this is a very real hardship. On February 12, 2026, Premier Subaru of Fremont partnered with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit committed to providing children with essential resources that support their well-being. Through their generosity, 204 brand-new pairs of shoes and socks were donated to Kidango. The children we serve are among our community's most vulnerable. Many of their families are experiencing housing instability, financial hardship, or living paycheck to paycheck. Parents are often forced to make impossible decisions — choosing between rent, groceries, transportation, or utility bills. When survival is the priority, replacing outgrown or worn shoes can become a delayed expense. Yet for toddlers and preschoolers, properly fitting shoes are not a luxury — they are essential. At this critical stage of development, children are building motor skills, confidence, and independence. They are learning to run, climb, balance, and explore the world around them. Having safe, comfortable shoes supports not only their physical development but their emotional security as well. A new pair of shoes may seem simple, but for our families, it represents relief. For our children, it represents comfort, confidence, and the freedom to move without pain or embarrassment. It sends a powerful message: you matter, and your community cares about you. Because of Premier Subaru of Fremont and Operation Warm, 204 of our youngest learners are stepping forward with greater stability, joy, and hope. On behalf of Kidango, our families, and our Kidango Peixoto Center, we extend our deepest gratitude to Premier Subaru of Fremont and Operation Warm for their generosity and partnership. Your commitment to investing in our most vulnerable children is making a lasting difference — one step at a time. Thank you for showing up for our children. Thank you for believing in their potential. Thank you for helping them take their next steps forward.

As a special education teacher, I see every day how much small acts of generosity can transform a classroom. This fall, one of my students’ parents — who works at Subaru of Fremont — surprised my class with boxes filled with much-needed school supplies: Expo markers, cleaning wipes, crayons, glue sticks, whiteboards, and other essentials that keep our lessons running smoothly. Our students were thrilled to open each box and see the colorful supplies they could use for learning and creating. These simple tools have made a huge difference in our daily routines and have helped my students stay engaged and excited about school. What touched me most was that this donation came from someone within our own classroom community — a parent who wanted to support not just his child, but every student in our room. Subaru’s commitment to giving back truly shows through moments like this. The Subaru Love Promise is more than a slogan; it’s something that directly impacts teachers and students like mine in meaningful, lasting ways. We’re incredibly grateful to Subaru of Fremont for reminding us that kindness and community support can make learning brighter for everyone.

Premier Subaru organized a Warmth Drive, rallying employees, and community members to contribute to the cause. Jackets and shoes of all sizes stacked and filled every available space. With hearts full of hope and generosity, the Premier Subaru team delivered the precious gifts to our school. As they entered the halls, they were met with bright smiles and eager eyes. The children's faces lit up with delight as they received their new jackets and shoes. For the students, it was more than just receiving clothing; it was a symbol of love and care from their community. Each jacket and pair of shoes represented warmth, protection, and the knowledge that they were valued and supported. As they proudly wore their new attire, they walked a little taller, their spirits lifted by the kindness bestowed upon them. Subaru's and Premier Subaru of Fremont's dedication to making a positive impact serves as a shining example for us all, inspiring us to embrace the spirit of giving and to cherish the bonds that unite us as a community.

Thank you to Premier Subaru of Fremont for providing us with a new Pet kit. I recently moved to the local area for a new job. I have always lived more in the country and have always had dogs. Now being in the big city and in a condo, things are tight for my budget as the cost of living is much higher here. I had decided, I couldn't afford a new pet commitment. Receiving the pet kit from Premier Subaru- It gave me the desire and motivation to get my new best friend/dog that I have been yearning for. Also hearing that Subaru supports the ASPCA, I immediately went to my local shelter and adopted my new best friend "Milk-tea"! She is 5 years old now and is just a joy and love to have a be around. I finally feel my life is finally getting on the right track and it all started with my new Subaru! Thank you Subaru and Premier Subaru of Fremont for the encouragement and dedication.

Opal was adopted during this year's Subaru Loves Pets initiative. After being in the shelter for over three months, this promotion gave her a wider audience and helped us find her a forever home. These placements are always bittersweet for the shelter staff, but her family was worth the wait.

On July 10th, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Greater Bay Area Chapter teamed up with Premier Subaru of Fremont to deliver blankets, arts & crafts kits, and dozens of message of hope cards written by the caring customers of Premier Subaru of Fremont to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Our contact at the hospital, Lucia, was very gracious and gave us a tour of the oncology wing. Stephanie, from Subaru, brought her two boys with her for the delivery and they brought smiles to everyone they crossed paths with on our tour. So many staff members from the hospital joined us for a wonderful photo op and were incredibly thankful for the donation from Subaru. Thank you to Premier Subaru of Fremont for making a difference!

During Subaru’s Loves to Care month in June, messages of hope for cancer patients were written by visitors to Subaru retailers. Those who wrote a message of hope at a Subaru retailer also received a bracelet to help spread awareness of LLS and the automaker’s goal to provide hope and care, one gesture at a time. The Premier Subaru of Fremont, Carlsen Subaru, and Serramonte Subaru teamed up to increase their impact and distribute 200+ blankets to El Camino Hospital on the same day. Those messages, along with blankets, were delivered to El Camino Hospital, to help keep patients warm as they continue their fight against cancer, and to help spread awareness of LLS and Subaru of America’s goal to provide hope and care, one gesture at a time. The blankets were distributed among the Cancer Center, Radiation Oncology, and Inpatient Unit. "The response was one of such gratitude that Subaru and LLS show in action how much they care". - Sr. Executive Director, Oncology Service Line, El Camino Hospital. Thank you to all involved!
