The New Subaru Uncharted EV
Subaru unveiled its latest model in New York City, which is a first for the brand. Uncharted is the first electric compact crossover in the lineup. As with most Subaru models, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is standard on most trims for exceptional capability. The name signifies the unexpected and unknown, designed to entice buyers who appreciate adventure and a vehicle that’s fun to drive. Uncharted comes in Premium FWD, Sport, and GT.
This EV has an estimated range of over 300 miles when you choose the Premium FWD trim while the Sport and GT trims can go from zero to 60 mph in under five seconds. When you use a DC fast charging station, you can charge the CUV from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.
Performance for Subaru Uncharted
The 2026 Subaru Uncharted is powered by a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery to provide up to 338 horsepower. Even the front-wheel drive model offers up to 221 horsepower. Dual electric motors are located on the front and rear axles in the models with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with X-MODE. These models have a slightly shorter range at 290 miles but offer more power. The Uncharted boasts easy handling and grip on loose surfaces with rigid high-strength steel and aerodynamic design for exciting performance on and off the pavement.
Practical Technology
As you would expect, the Subaru Uncharted is loaded with technology. Standard for this model is a 14-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You have not one but two wireless chargers to keep two devices charged. Dual USB-C ports are available for passengers in the rear seats.
